What does this comparison mean?
Moving from GTX 1650 4GB GDDR5 to GTX 1060 6GB (GDDR5, 8 Gbps) increases the recorded result from 59 to 78 FPS and graphics memory from 4GB to 6GB. The uplift is 32.2% in this workload with 2GB more capacity; the benchmark cannot tell us how much of the difference comes from memory rather than the rest of the GPU.
GTX 1060 6GB (GDDR5, 8 Gbps) has 6GB and GTX 1650 4GB GDDR5 has 4GB of graphics memory. Memory capacity, board dimensions, power connectors and the price of a particular used card are separate from this benchmark. Compare the exact item before deciding whether to upgrade.
The two GPUs in context
GTX 1060 6GB (GDDR5, 8 Gbps)
This is the original Pascal GTX 1060 with 6GB of 8 Gbps GDDR5, released in July 2016. Other capacity and memory-speed variants are separate.
GTX 1650 4GB GDDR5
This entry uses the original desktop GTX 1650 with 4GB of GDDR5, launched in April 2019. NVIDIA also lists a separate GDDR6 variant.

How the figures are compared
Both FPS figures come from the owner-supplied GPUsed benchmark dataset. GPUsed reports a continuous FurMark run at 1080p for its physical-card checks. The percentage compares the higher model average with the lower one using the original FPS values. Our rating uses a compressed scale, with the fastest GPU at 100; it is separate from the percentage difference. A benchmark result does not predict gaming FPS.
GPUsed reports its physical-card checks typically last 30 to 60 minutes while temperature and stability are checked. The owner supplied the model-level FPS workbook on 2 October 2026; this benchmark dataset was last reconciled 3 October 2026. Historical cards tested are separate from the number of FPS runs behind a model average. GTX 1060 6GB (GDDR5, 8 Gbps) uses the 145-card GeForce GTX 1060 6GB family total; GPUsed has not split it by this exact variant. GTX 1650 4GB GDDR5 uses the 55-card GeForce GTX 1650 4GB family total; GPUsed has not split it by this exact variant. Full benchmark method.
