What does this comparison mean?
Moving from the RTX 4060 8GB to the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB combines a 58.6% increase in this benchmark with twice the graphics-memory capacity. That makes this a different upgrade question from replacing one 8GB card with another: a workload exceeding 8GB gains capacity as well as a higher measured model average. The extra memory does not guarantee twice the speed. Check that the listing is the 16GB Ti variant, since NVIDIA also offers an 8GB RTX 5060 Ti, and verify the exact board's power and fit requirements.
RTX 4060 8GB has 8GB and RTX 5060 Ti 16GB has 16GB of graphics memory. Memory capacity, board dimensions, power connectors and the price of a particular used card are separate from this benchmark. Compare the exact item before deciding whether to upgrade.
The two GPUs in context
RTX 4060 8GB
The RTX 4060 is the 8GB Ada Lovelace desktop model, distinct from the RTX 4060 Ti. NVIDIA documented its availability from June 2023.
RTX 5060 Ti 16GB
This is the 16GB GDDR7 version of the RTX 5060 Ti, launched in April 2025. Its 8GB sibling and the non-Ti RTX 5060 are separate variants.

How the figures are compared
Both FPS figures come from the owner-supplied GPUsed benchmark dataset. GPUsed reports a continuous FurMark run at 1080p for its physical-card checks. The percentage compares the higher model average with the lower one using the original FPS values. Our rating uses a compressed scale, with the fastest GPU at 100; it is separate from the percentage difference. A benchmark result does not predict gaming FPS.
GPUsed reports its physical-card checks typically last 30 to 60 minutes while temperature and stability are checked. The owner supplied the model-level FPS workbook on 2 October 2026; this benchmark dataset was last reconciled 3 October 2026. Historical cards tested are separate from the number of FPS runs behind a model average. Full benchmark method.
