What is GPUsed? About, Trust and Donations
GPUsed Ltd is a UK computer hardware business run by Max Brocklesby. We buy and sell graphics cards, processors and other components, including specialist and bulk stock.
Where is GPUsed based? About, Trust and Donations
GPUsed is based at 5 Lion Yard, Clapham, London, SW4 7NQ. Collection is available only when arranged and paid for in advance.
Is GPUsed trustworthy? About, Trust and Donations
You can check GPUsed through independent customer reviews, our published testing and grading information, company details and clear returns terms. Trustpilot showed a 4.8/5 TrustScore from 946 reviews when checked on 9 September 2026. See the Reviews page for direct links and the latest figures.
Are GPUsed products new or used? About, Trust and Donations
Most products are used unless the listing says otherwise. Check the product page for its condition, grade, included items and current availability.
How do checkout contributions work? About, Trust and Donations
The contribution is optional and can be 1%, 5% or 10%. GPUsed passes the full customer contribution to Lendwithcare, covers the payment fees and transfers the money monthly. Refunded contributions go back to the customer and are not reclaimed from Lendwithcare. See Donations for details.
Does GPUsed have a blog? About, Trust and Donations
Yes. The GPUsed Guides / Blog contains practical articles about buying, selling and choosing computer hardware.
What does GPUsed sell? Buying and Product Support
We sell used GPUs, CPUs, RAM, SSDs, hard drives, motherboards, power supplies, PCs and other technology. Current stock and prices are shown in the shop.
How does GPUsed test products? Buying and Product Support
Every used item receives checks proportionate to its component type, value, age, stated condition and observable risk. GPU checks normally cover identity, physical condition, output and stable operation under appropriate benchmark or load testing, with temperatures and obvious artefacts monitored. Higher-risk items receive deeper checks; simple low-value components are not assigned artificial fixed-hour tests. See the testing page for more detail.
What is included with a product? Buying and Product Support
The Included field on the product page lists what comes with it. If a box, cable, adaptor or accessory is not listed, assume it is not included and ask us before ordering if it matters.
Are product photos of the exact item? Buying and Product Support
Treat photos as exact-item evidence only when the listing identifies them that way. Representative photos may be used for equivalent stock when the listing says so. “Photo coming soon” means photographs are not ready. If the cooler, connector, part number or a cosmetic detail matters and the listing is not explicit, contact us before ordering.
Are website prices and stock current? Buying and Product Support
Check the product page and checkout for current price and availability. Stock can change quickly and an item is not reserved until checkout is complete unless we agree otherwise. Sold-out products cannot be purchased until stock becomes available again.
Can GPUsed help me choose the right component? Buying and Product Support
Yes. Use the contact page and include your PC specification, intended use, budget and any size or power limits. Advice is based on the details supplied and the stock available.
What can I sell to GPUsed? Selling, Quotes and Part Exchange
GPUsed considers GPUs, CPUs and other computer components, PCs, specialist hardware and suitable bulk technology stock. We choose which items we can buy based on the item, condition, quantity, demand and verification.
How do I request a quote? Selling, Quotes and Part Exchange
Use the Sell to GPUsed form. Include the item type, brand, exact model, quantity, condition, working status, boxed status and anything missing or faulty. Accurate details help prevent changes after inspection.
How quickly will GPUsed send a quote? Selling, Quotes and Part Exchange
For complete standard submissions, a member of our team can send a personalised quote in as little as 10 minutes. Bulk, unusual or incomplete submissions can take longer.
Can GPUsed arrange a courier? Selling, Quotes and Part Exchange
We can arrange a Royal Mail collection for some accepted quotes, or agree that you use a tracked service. A £5 self-post contribution applies only when it is agreed in the accepted quote. Bulky, remote, business and bulk logistics are agreed case by case. Follow the instructions supplied with your quote.
When and how does GPUsed pay sellers? Selling, Quotes and Part Exchange
GPUsed sends the payout on the same working day the item arrives and passes the agreed checks. Payment is by bank transfer or PayPal, and provider processing times can vary. If bank transfer is agreed, put a note inside the parcel with your name, account holder name, sort code and account number so we can match the payment. Never include a PIN, online-banking password or card security code.
How does part exchange work? Selling, Quotes and Part Exchange
Tell us what you want to sell and which GPUsed product you want to buy. We will quote for your item and confirm the amount left to pay. The final price depends on inspection and the product still being available.
How does the GPUsed quote guarantee work? Selling, Quotes and Part Exchange
For eligible working GPUs and CPUs, GPUsed guarantees to beat a current written, like-for-like cash quote from CeX, Techbuyer, GPU Workshop, Bits & PCs or SellGPU.com. We compare the net cash after stated fees or deductions; marketplace prices, vouchers and trade-in credit do not count. An accepted guaranteed quote must be dispatched within seven calendar days. Other components are compared case by case. See the Terms of Service for the full rules.
How much more does GPUsed pay than CeX? Selling, Quotes and Part Exchange
Across GPUsed's recorded eligible, like-for-like CeX comparisons, our cash quotes average 10% more. This is an average, not a fixed uplift on every item. The individual guarantee is that GPUsed will beat an eligible current CeX cash quote when the published conditions are met. See the Terms of Service for the full rules.
Can GPUsed change or decline a quote? Selling, Quotes and Part Exchange
Yes. We may change, withdraw or decline a quote if the item, condition, quantity or working status differs from the form, cannot be verified, is unsafe or is not suitable for us to buy. If an item fails, only partly passes or needs more investigation, we contact you with the relevant findings and the revised-quote, return or next-step options. We do not automatically reprice, dispose of or take another irreversible step without your instruction.
Which graphics cards does GPUsed handle? GPUs and Specialist Hardware
We buy and sell many NVIDIA GeForce GTX and RTX cards, AMD Radeon cards and older gaming GPUs. This includes Founders Edition and partner models. Eligibility and value depend on the exact model, condition, quantity and demand.
Can GPUsed handle bulk or specialist GPU stock? GPUs and Specialist Hardware
Yes. We consider workstation, AI and datacentre GPUs, including suitable NVIDIA RTX A-Series, Quadro and Tesla hardware, as well as mixed or matching GPU batches. We can also help source matching units when stock permits. Use the Enterprise Hardware page for larger enquiries.
Does previous mining use automatically exclude a GPU? GPUs and Specialist Hardware
No. Tell us about any known mining use or faults. We assess the card itself, including its model, condition and test results.
Why is the exact GPU model important? GPUs and Specialist Hardware
Manufacturers, coolers, memory capacities and variants can have different values, dimensions and power requirements. Use the full model name from the card or GPU-Z where possible.
Are workstation or datacentre GPUs suitable for gaming? GPUs and Specialist Hardware
Not necessarily. Some lack gaming-focused display outputs, cooling or driver support. Check the exact model and intended workload before buying specialist hardware for a desktop PC.
Which other components and PCs does GPUsed handle? Components, PCs and Business
GPUsed handles selected AMD and Intel CPUs, DDR3, DDR4 and DDR5 RAM, SSDs, hard drives, motherboards, power supplies, gaming PCs and desktop PCs. Suitability depends on the exact specification, condition, accessories and demand. Storage devices should be factory reset and free of personal data before they are sent.
Does GPUsed work with businesses and institutions? Components, PCs and Business
Yes. We buy from and supply businesses, IT departments, universities, datacentres, AI companies, resellers and other suppliers. Larger deals can use agreed collection, delivery or international buying arrangements. Use the Enterprise Hardware page for a tailored enquiry.
Does GPUsed provide invoices? Components, PCs and Business
Yes. We provide an invoice for every purchase. Many used items are sold under the VAT Margin Scheme, so do not assume VAT can be reclaimed unless the invoice states it separately.
Does GPUsed offer free UK delivery? Delivery, Orders and Returns
Yes. Standard UK delivery is free where stated on the website. Faster paid options and the final delivery charge are shown at checkout.
Where does GPUsed deliver website orders? Delivery, Orders and Returns
We deliver website orders to the UK, Guernsey and Jersey when the address is accepted at checkout. Available services and charges are shown before payment. Contact GPUsed before ordering if checkout does not offer your destination.
How quickly does GPUsed dispatch orders? Delivery, Orders and Returns
GPUsed dispatches by the next working day. Orders placed before midday may leave sooner, but same-day dispatch is not guaranteed.
Which delivery services and tracking are available? Delivery, Orders and Returns
We offer Royal Mail Tracked 48, Tracked 24 and Special Delivery. The services available for your order and their prices are shown at checkout. Tracking is provided through the order details or dispatch notification, although the first carrier scan can take time to appear.
Can I collect an order? Delivery, Orders and Returns
Yes, when collection is offered at checkout or arranged with us. The order must be paid before collection. We do not take walk-in reservations or card payments on site.
How do I start a return? Delivery, Orders and Returns
Read the Refund Policy, then contact GPUsed with the order number and reason for return. Wait for the return instructions before sending the item and package it securely using tracked delivery.
What should I do if an order arrives damaged or faulty? Delivery, Orders and Returns
Contact GPUsed as soon as possible with the order number, a description of the issue and useful photographs. Do not attempt a repair or further modification before receiving instructions.
Can GPUsed help with compatibility? Compatibility, Grading and Contact
Yes. Send the exact motherboard, case, power supply, current parts and planned upgrade. For a GPU, check physical clearance, slot width, power-supply wattage, required connectors, motherboard slot and display outputs. You remain responsible for checking the full specification before ordering.
What do Grade A, Grade B and Grade C mean? Compatibility, Grading and Contact
Grade A and Grade B are working items, with cosmetic condition and any item-specific notes shown on the listing. Grade C is non-working and sold for parts or repair. Check the individual listing and the Grading System before buying.
What does Grade B corrosion wording mean? Compatibility, Grading and Contact
If a Grade B listing mentions corrosion, the item has been kept in sub-par conditions and some rust or corrosion has started to form. This is why it is Grade B. The listing will confirm that the cosmetic issue did not affect performance during our tests.
How do I contact GPUsed? Compatibility, Grading and Contact
Use the general contact page for product, order and support questions. Direct email, phone, WhatsApp and address details are on the Contact Information page. Use the Sell to GPUsed form for quotes, part exchange and stock-selling enquiries.
How long is an accepted GPUsed quote valid? Selling, Quotes and Part Exchange
Any validity period stated in the quote applies. For an accepted guaranteed GPU or CPU quote, dispatch the item within seven calendar days using the agreed route. Carrier transit after a timely dispatch does not itself invalidate the quote.
Do I need the original box or accessories to sell an item? Selling, Quotes and Part Exchange
No. Tell us whether the item is boxed and list every cable, adaptor or accessory that is included or missing. Missing items can affect the quote, but they do not automatically prevent an item from being accepted.
How should I package hardware being sent to GPUsed? Selling, Quotes and Part Exchange
Use suitable anti-static protection where appropriate, firm padding and a strong outer box so the item cannot move in transit. Follow the instructions supplied with the quote, use the agreed tracked route and keep the posting receipt.
Can I sell several items or a mixed batch? Selling, Quotes and Part Exchange
Yes. List each exact model, quantity, condition and working status. Use the standard selling form for an ordinary batch and the Enterprise Hardware page for larger, specialist or business stock.
Does GPUsed buy faulty or untested hardware? Selling, Quotes and Part Exchange
Yes, but faulty hardware is valued much lower than a working equivalent—often around 10–15% of the working quote, depending on the exact item and fault. Untested does not automatically mean faulty. Describe any known faults, missing parts or uncertainty in the form, and do not send anything until it has been accepted as part of a quote.
Which payment methods can I use? Buying and Product Support
The payment methods currently available for an order are shown at checkout. Availability can vary by device, order and payment provider, so the checkout is the authoritative list. See Payment Options for card, PayPal and Pay in 3 details.
How do I identify the exact GPU or CPU model? Buying and Product Support
Use the full model and variant shown on the product label, original packaging or reliable system information. GPU-Z can help identify a graphics card. Include the manufacturer and memory capacity where relevant, because similar-looking variants can have different values and requirements.
How does GPUsed use contact form details? Compatibility, Grading and Contact
When you submit the form, your email address and enquiry are held in Shopify as part of the enquiry record. They may be used to reply and to send automated emails connected with your enquiry. See the Privacy Policy and Terms for details of how GPUsed handles personal data and your rights.
