Product grading

GPUsed uses a simple grading system to describe product condition clearly before purchase. This grading system is currently only in place for graphics cards.

Grades describe condition, not performance tier. Performance depends on the actual model.
A+

New or like new

Best cosmetic condition

A+ grade is used for items that are new or in like-new condition, with minimal or no visible signs of use.

A

Excellent used condition

Our most common grade

A grade means excellent or very good condition for a used item. It may show light signs of use, but should still present very well overall.

B

Working, with cosmetic wear

Performance not affected

B grade items are working, but may have cosmetic issues such as marks, scratches or heavier signs of use. These cosmetic issues should not affect performance.

C

Non-working

Not currently sold on GPUsed

C grade means non-working. GPUsed does not currently sell non-working hardware through the website.

How grading fits with testing

Grading describes the visible and practical condition of an item. Testing is separate. GPUsed graphics cards are checked before listing, including temperature, performance, legitimacy and visual checks where relevant.
