Refund policy

GPUSED LTD – REFUND AND RETURN POLICY Last updated: 28 June 2026 This Refund and Return Policy applies to eligible purchases made from GPUsed Ltd through the GPUsed website, by invoice or by another agreed sales route. This policy should be read together with the GPUsed Terms of Service, Warranty, Shipping Policy and product listing. Nothing in this policy is intended to remove, restrict or limit any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded. 1. SUMMARY GPUsed sells mostly used, second-hand, refurbished, open-box, ex-display, surplus or otherwise pre-owned technology unless a listing clearly states that an item is new. GPUsed offers 30-day returns on eligible products, subject to the terms below. If you are a UK consumer buying online, you may also have statutory cancellation rights. If a product is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you may have additional rights under UK consumer law. 2. CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS If you are a UK consumer buying online, you normally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days after delivery without giving a reason, subject to legal exceptions. GPUsed offers eligible customers a 30-day return period for eligible products. This means you should contact GPUsed within 30 days of receiving the item if you want to request a return. To request a return, contact GPUsed with: - your order number; - your name and contact details; - the item you want to return; - the reason for return; - photos if the item, packaging or accessories are relevant. 3. CONDITION OF RETURNED ITEMS Returned items must be: - the same item supplied by GPUsed; - complete with all included accessories, brackets, adapters, cables, packaging, boxes and documentation where supplied; - safely packaged for return shipping; - returned in the condition reasonably expected after normal inspection. GPUsed may reduce a refund if: - the item has been used beyond what is necessary to inspect it; - the item is damaged after delivery; - accessories, packaging or included parts are missing; - the returned item is not the same item supplied by GPUsed; - serial numbers, warranty labels or security labels have been altered, removed or damaged. 4. RETURN POSTAGE For change-of-mind returns, the customer is usually responsible for return postage unless GPUsed agrees otherwise or the law requires otherwise. For faulty, incorrect or not-as-described items, GPUsed will review the issue and, where appropriate, cover reasonable return shipping or provide return instructions. Please do not send an item back without contacting GPUsed first. This helps avoid delays and makes sure the return is handled correctly. 5. REFUNDS Where a refund is due, GPUsed will usually refund using the original payment method. Refunds are normally processed after the returned item has been received and inspected. Where UK consumer cancellation rights apply, GPUsed will process refunds in line with applicable law. If the customer paid for standard delivery, this may be refunded where required by law. If the customer chose a more expensive delivery method, GPUsed is only required to refund the standard delivery amount where applicable. GPUsed may withhold or delay a refund where: - the item has not been received back; - the returned item is not the item supplied; - the returned item is missing accessories or packaging; - the item is damaged or altered; - serial numbers do not match; - the issue requires testing or investigation; - fraud or misuse is suspected. 6. FAULTY ITEMS If you believe an item is faulty, contact GPUsed as soon as possible with: - your order number; - a clear description of the issue; - photos or videos where relevant; - details of your setup, including power supply, motherboard, cables, drivers or other connected hardware where relevant. All returned items reported as faulty must be tested and the fault verified before a refund, repair, replacement or warranty remedy is issued. If a product is found to be faulty within the first 30 days after delivery, GPUsed will review the fault and provide the appropriate remedy in line with applicable law and the GPUsed policy terms. If a returned item passes GPUsed testing, GPUsed may return the item to the customer or discuss available options. If the issue is caused by customer error, incompatible hardware, incorrect installation or misuse, GPUsed may deduct reasonable costs where lawful. 7. INCORRECT ITEMS If GPUsed sends the wrong item by mistake, contact GPUsed promptly. GPUsed will provide return instructions and cover reasonable return shipping for incorrectly supplied items. If an incorrect item is received in error, it must be returned to GPUsed. If the item is not returned after reasonable request, GPUsed may take steps to recover the item or its value. 8. DAMAGED DELIVERY If your order arrives damaged, contact GPUsed as soon as possible. Please provide: - your order number; - photos of the outer packaging; - photos of the inner packaging; - photos of the item; - a description of the issue. Keep the packaging while the issue is reviewed, as the courier may need evidence. 9. MISSING ITEMS OR ACCESSORIES If something appears to be missing from your order, contact GPUsed with your order number and details of what is missing. GPUsed will compare the issue against the product listing, dispatch records and packaging information. 10. WARRANTY Any warranty supplied or sold by GPUsed is separate from your statutory rights and separate from the 30-day return period. Warranty cover does not apply to: - physical damage; - liquid damage; - accidental damage; - misuse, abuse, neglect or mishandling; - incorrect installation or removal; - unsuitable power supply, voltage, cabling or adapters; - damage caused by incompatible hardware; - firmware flashing, BIOS flashing, overclocking, mining-related modification or unauthorised software changes; - repair or attempted repair by anyone other than GPUsed or an approved repairer; - altered, removed or defaced serial numbers, security labels or warranty labels; - consumables, batteries, cables, screws, adapters, brackets, packaging or accessories unless specifically stated; - normal cosmetic wear and tear; - faults disclosed before sale; - Grade C, spares-or-repairs or fault-listed items where the fault was disclosed; - environmental damage, including heat, fire, water, lightning, power surge or similar external events; - exported or re-exported items where this prevents practical support or breaches applicable export rules. For full warranty details, see the GPUsed Warranty page. 11. USED, GRADED AND FAULT-LISTED ITEMS Because GPUsed sells used technology, cosmetic wear may be present unless the listing states otherwise. Product grades, descriptions and listing notes should be checked before ordering. If an item is sold as Grade C, faulty, spares-or-repairs, fault-listed or with a disclosed issue, returns may not be accepted for that disclosed issue, subject always to statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded. 12. SERIAL NUMBERS AND ITEM VERIFICATION GPUsed may record serial numbers, product identifiers, security labels and other identifying information before dispatch. Returns may be refused if: - the serial number does not match; - the product is not the item supplied by GPUsed; - the item has been tampered with; - labels or security markings have been removed or altered; - there is evidence of part swapping or attempted fraud. 13. COMPATIBILITY AND INSTALLATION Customers are responsible for checking compatibility before purchase. For PC components, this may include: - case size and GPU clearance; - power supply wattage and quality; - PCIe power connectors; - motherboard slot and BIOS support; - CPU socket and chipset support; - RAM generation and speed support; - display outputs and cables; - drivers and operating system support. GPUsed can help with compatibility questions where enough information is supplied, but final compatibility responsibility remains with the customer unless GPUsed has made a specific written compatibility promise. 14. DATA ON DEVICES If returning any item that may contain personal data, including a PC, laptop, SSD, HDD, phone, tablet or other storage-capable device, you are responsible for backing up and removing your data before return. GPUsed is not responsible for personal data left on returned devices, except where the law says otherwise. 15. ITEMS EXPORTED OUTSIDE THE UK Returns or warranty claims may be refused or limited if an item has been exported or re-exported to a restricted, sanctioned or unauthorised region, or where export prevents practical support. Buyers are responsible for complying with all applicable export control, sanctions and trade laws. 16. HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN To request a return, contact GPUsed through the website contact route or by email. Email: max@gpused.co.uk Please include your order number and a clear explanation of the issue. END OF REFUND AND RETURN POLICY
