Terms of service

GPUSED LTD – TERMS OF SERVICE Last updated: 28 June 2026 These Terms of Service apply when you use the GPUsed website, buy from GPUsed, sell to GPUsed, take part in a GPUsed part-exchange, use GPUsed checkout donation options, enter a GPUsed raffle or otherwise deal with GPUsed Ltd. Please read these terms carefully before using the website, placing an order, sending an item to GPUsed or entering any GPUsed promotion. Nothing in these terms is intended to remove, restrict or limit any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded, including consumer rights under UK law. If any wording appears to conflict with rights that cannot legally be limited, those statutory rights take priority. 1. WHO WE ARE 1.1 GPUsed Ltd is a UK-based used technology business specialising in buying and selling used technology, including graphics cards, computer components, gaming PCs, workstation hardware, enterprise hardware and related products. 1.2 In these terms, “GPUsed”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean GPUsed Ltd. 1.3 “You”, “customer”, “buyer”, “seller” and “user” refer to the person or business using the website, buying from GPUsed, selling to GPUsed, entering a promotion or otherwise dealing with GPUsed. 1.4 Contact details and support routes are available on the GPUsed Contact Information page and Contact Us page. 2. USING THE GPUsed WEBSITE 2.1 By using the GPUsed website, placing an order, submitting a quote request, sending an item to GPUsed or entering a GPUsed promotion, you agree to these terms and any other relevant policies linked on the website. 2.2 You must not misuse the website, attempt to interfere with its operation, submit false information, attempt fraud, scrape data without permission or use the website in any unlawful way. 2.3 GPUsed may update, remove, correct or change website content, product listings, pricing, availability, pages, policies and promotions at any time. 2.4 Website content is provided for general information and transactional use. GPUsed aims to keep information accurate, but errors can occasionally occur. 3. PRODUCT LISTINGS AND USED GOODS 3.1 Most products sold by GPUsed are used, second-hand, refurbished, open-box, ex-display, surplus or otherwise pre-owned unless the listing clearly states that the item is new. 3.2 Used items may show signs of use. Cosmetic condition, packaging, accessories, serial numbers, exact photos and grading information may vary by listing. 3.3 GPUsed aims to describe each product clearly, including model, condition, included accessories and relevant notes where known. 3.4 Any specific information in a product listing takes priority over general wording elsewhere on the website. 3.5 Product images are intended to represent the item being sold. Where a listing says the item is a representative example or multiple units are available, the exact item supplied may vary slightly in cosmetic condition while matching the advertised model and grade. 3.6 You are responsible for checking compatibility before purchase, including case clearance, power supply wattage, power connectors, motherboard compatibility, CPU socket, RAM generation, storage interface, BIOS requirements, display outputs, software support and any other setup requirements. 3.7 GPUsed can help with compatibility questions where you provide enough information, but final responsibility for compatibility remains with you unless GPUsed has made a specific written compatibility promise for your system. 4. TESTING AND CONDITION 4.1 GPUsed tests items before listing where practical and appropriate to the product category. 4.2 GPUsed graphics cards are tested with a 1 hour FurMark temperature test, 2 Unigine benchmark runs for graphics performance, a GPU-Z legitimacy check and visual inspection. 4.3 CPUs, RAM, SSDs and other components go through their own specialist testing processes depending on the item type. 4.4 Testing reduces risk but cannot guarantee that a used electronic item will never develop a future fault. 4.5 Product grades and condition descriptions are explained on the GPUsed Grading System page where applicable. Any specific listing notes override general grading guidance. 5. PRICES, AVAILABILITY AND PROMOTIONS 5.1 All website prices are shown in GBP unless stated otherwise. 5.2 GPUsed may change prices at any time. The used electronics market can move quickly and stock values may rise or fall. 5.3 If an item drops in price after you place an order, you are not automatically entitled to a refund of the difference. GPUsed may consider discretionary adjustments case by case, but this is not guaranteed. 5.4 If an item rises in price after you place an accepted order, GPUsed will not charge you the difference unless the original price was an obvious error. 5.5 In the rare event of a pricing error, stock error, listing error, payment issue or suspected fraud, GPUsed may cancel, amend or refuse an order. If this happens after payment has been taken, GPUsed will refund the affected payment. 5.6 Promotional codes, discounts, sale prices and offers are subject to availability and the specific terms shown with the promotion. Promotions can end, change or be withdrawn. 5.7 GPUsed does not guarantee to price match. If you see an item cheaper elsewhere, you may contact GPUsed and we may review it where practical. 5.8 GPUsed reserves the right to limit quantities sold to any person, business, address, payment method or account where necessary to manage stock, fraud risk, fair access, pricing errors or supply constraints. 6. ORDERS AND ORDER ACCEPTANCE 6.1 Placing an order does not always mean the order has been accepted. An order is accepted when GPUsed confirms acceptance, dispatches the item or otherwise confirms that the order will be fulfilled. 6.2 GPUsed may refuse or cancel an order where there is a payment issue, stock issue, address issue, pricing error, suspected fraud, export concern, technical issue or other reasonable commercial reason. 6.3 You must provide accurate billing, delivery and contact information when ordering. 6.4 GPUsed is not responsible for delay or failed delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete details supplied by you. 6.5 An order can usually be cancelled before dispatch. Once dispatched, the return and cancellation terms apply. 7. PAYMENT 7.1 GPUsed accepts the payment methods shown at checkout or agreed by invoice. 7.2 Payment must clear before dispatch unless GPUsed has agreed credit terms in writing. 7.3 GPUsed may carry out fraud checks and may request additional information before dispatching an order. 7.4 GPUsed may refuse to ship to an address that does not match billing, payment-provider or fraud-screening requirements. 7.5 Any additional payment-provider fees, international fees, chargeback costs or bank charges caused by incorrect or unusual payment arrangements may be reviewed and charged where lawful and reasonable. 8. DELIVERY, COLLECTION, RISK AND TITLE 8.1 GPUsed offers delivery options shown at checkout or agreed directly. 8.2 Delivery timeframes are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. 8.3 GPUsed usually dispatches orders by the next working day where possible, subject to payment status, stock, order time and shipping option selected. 8.4 Risk in purchased goods normally passes to the buyer when the item is delivered to the delivery address supplied by the buyer. 8.5 Title to purchased goods passes to the buyer once GPUsed has received full cleared payment and the item has been dispatched or handed over, unless separate credit terms apply. 8.6 For local collection, risk passes when the item is collected. 8.7 If tracking states that an order has been delivered but you have not received it, contact GPUsed promptly with your order number and tracking details so the issue can be reviewed. 9. CONSUMER CANCELLATION RIGHTS AND CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS 9.1 If you are a UK consumer buying online, you may have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days after delivery without giving a reason, subject to legal exceptions. 9.2 GPUsed also offers 30-day returns on eligible products in line with the GPUsed Refund Policy. This gives eligible customers more time than the standard 14-day online cancellation period. 9.3 To request a return, contact GPUsed within the applicable return period with your order number and reason for return. 9.4 Returned items must be complete, safely packaged and include all items supplied with the original product, including accessories, packaging, adapters, cables, brackets or documentation where included. 9.5 GPUsed may make a deduction from a refund where the item has been handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it, or where accessories, packaging or supplied parts are missing. 9.6 For change-of-mind returns, you may be responsible for return postage unless GPUsed agrees otherwise or the law requires otherwise. 9.7 For faulty, not-as-described or incorrectly supplied items, GPUsed will review the issue and, where appropriate, arrange the correct remedy in line with applicable law and policy. 9.8 GPUsed may refuse a return where the returned item is not the item supplied by GPUsed, has a different serial number, has been tampered with, has been damaged after delivery, or does not match the return request. 10. FAULTY GOODS, RETURNS AND WARRANTY HANDLING 10.1 If a product sold by GPUsed is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you may be entitled to remedies under UK consumer law. 10.2 If a product is found to be faulty within the first 30 days after delivery, GPUsed will review the fault and may provide a refund, repair or replacement as required by law and the GPUsed Refund Policy. 10.3 All returned products must be tested and the reported fault verified before a refund, repair, replacement or warranty remedy is issued. 10.4 If an item is returned as faulty but passes GPUsed testing, GPUsed may return the item to the customer or discuss available options. GPUsed may deduct reasonable costs where the return was caused by customer error, misuse, incompatible hardware or misdiagnosis, subject to applicable law. 10.5 Any additional warranty sold or supplied by GPUsed is separate from statutory rights. A warranty does not replace or reduce legal rights. 10.6 Warranty cover does not apply to: - physical damage; - liquid damage; - accidental damage; - damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect or mishandling; - incorrect installation or removal; - unsuitable power supply, voltage, cabling or adapters; - damage caused by incompatible hardware; - firmware flashing, BIOS flashing, overclocking, mining-related modification or unauthorised software changes; - repair or attempted repair by anyone other than GPUsed or an approved repairer; - altered, removed or defaced serial numbers, security labels or warranty labels; - consumables, batteries, cables, screws, adapters, brackets, packaging or accessories unless specifically stated; - normal cosmetic wear and tear; - faults disclosed before sale; - Grade C, spares-or-repairs or fault-listed items where the fault was disclosed; - environmental damage, including heat, fire, water, lightning, power surge or similar external events; - exported or re-exported items where this prevents practical support or breaches applicable export rules. 10.7 If Grade C, fault-listed or spares-or-repairs items are sold, they may have limited or no return rights for the disclosed fault, subject always to statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded. 10.8 You should keep original packaging during the return period where possible, especially for graphics cards and fragile components. 11. INCORRECT ITEMS AND SHIPPING ERRORS 11.1 If GPUsed sends an incorrect item by mistake, you must notify GPUsed promptly and return the item. 11.2 GPUsed will cover reasonable return shipping costs for incorrectly supplied items. 11.3 If an incorrect item is received by you in error and is not returned after reasonable request, GPUsed may take steps to recover the item or its value. 11.4 Where GPUsed has previously offered a goodwill reward for returning an incorrectly supplied item, this will be dealt with case by case and does not create an automatic entitlement unless confirmed in writing. 12. SELLING TO GPUSED 12.1 GPUsed may buy used technology from individuals and businesses, including GPUs, CPUs, RAM, SSDs, hard drives, motherboards, power supplies, gaming PCs, workstation hardware, enterprise hardware and bulk technology stock. 12.2 Any quote from GPUsed is based on the information you provide and is subject to the item being received, checked and approved. 12.3 You must provide accurate item details, including model, brand, condition, quantity, working status, boxed status, accessories and any faults or relevant history. 12.4 GPUsed may revise, reduce or withdraw a quote if the item: - is not the model described; - has undisclosed damage or faults; - is incomplete; - is fake, modified, blocked, locked, stolen, financed, encumbered or otherwise not yours to sell; - has serial numbers or labels removed or altered; - is in materially worse condition than described; - fails testing or verification; - arrives late after a quote has expired; - is affected by smoke, moisture, liquid, corrosion, pests or contamination; - cannot be lawfully bought or resold. 12.5 GPUsed reserves the right to refuse to purchase any item at its discretion. 12.6 Unless otherwise agreed, quoted prices are valid for seven days. If an item is not received within that period, the quote may be changed or cancelled. 12.7 Once GPUsed has received, checked, approved and paid for the item, ownership transfers to GPUsed. 12.8 You warrant that you are the rightful owner of any item sold to GPUsed, or are authorised to sell it, and that the item is free from finance, security interests, third-party claims and other encumbrances. 12.9 If an item sold to GPUsed is later found to be stolen, fake, blocked, financed, encumbered or unlawfully sold, GPUsed may reverse the transaction and pursue civil or criminal remedies. 12.10 It is your responsibility to remove personal data from any device, storage drive, computer, phone, SSD, HDD or other data-bearing item before sending it to GPUsed. 12.11 GPUsed is not responsible for personal data left on items sent to GPUsed, although GPUsed may wipe or destroy data as part of processing where practical. 13. SELLER PAYMENTS 13.1 GPUsed usually pays sellers by bank transfer after the item has been received, checked and approved. 13.2 Payment is made using the payout details provided by the seller. GPUsed is not responsible for payment made to incorrect account details supplied by the seller. 13.3 You should include your name, contact details and payout details in the parcel or provide them clearly in the agreed quote thread. 13.4 Missing payout details may delay payment. 13.5 Alternative payment methods, including PayPal or voucher, may be considered only where agreed by GPUsed. 13.6 Vouchers, where issued, have no cash value, cannot be transferred by GPUsed to another person and cannot be resold unless GPUsed agrees otherwise in writing. 14. POSTAGE, COURIERS AND ITEMS SENT TO GPUSED 14.1 Where GPUsed arranges a courier collection, the collection may be carried out by a third-party courier. 14.2 Courier collections may not be insured by default. If you require insurance, ask GPUsed before collection or arrange your own insured postage. 14.3 If you arrange your own postage, you are responsible for packaging the item securely and choosing a suitable insured service. 14.4 Items sent to GPUsed are sent under a shipment contract. Until GPUsed receives the item, risk of loss or damage remains with the sender. 14.5 If an item is damaged in transit to GPUsed, the quote may be revised or declined. 14.6 If GPUsed declines an item after receipt, GPUsed may return it to you. Return postage may be charged or deducted where the item was misdescribed, faulty, contaminated, incomplete or in breach of these terms. 15. PART EXCHANGE AND TRADE-IN 15.1 GPUsed may offer part exchange, trade-in or PX options where suitable. 15.2 Part exchange values are subject to the item being received, checked and approved. 15.3 Stock availability is not guaranteed during a part-exchange discussion unless GPUsed confirms a reservation in writing. 15.4 If you send your item first, the agreed value may be applied against a GPUsed purchase after checks and approval. 15.5 If you buy from GPUsed first and sell your old item afterwards, the sale of your old item will be treated as a separate selling transaction unless otherwise agreed. 16. BULK, BUSINESS AND CREDIT TERMS 16.1 GPUsed may buy from and sell to businesses, resellers, IT departments, universities, datacentres, AI server farms and other organisations. 16.2 Bulk transactions may be subject to separate written terms, invoices, purchase orders or agreed conditions. 16.3 GPUsed may offer credit terms to selected business customers only where agreed in writing. 16.4 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices issued on credit terms are payable within 14 days from invoice date. 16.5 Goods sold on credit remain the property of GPUsed until paid for in full. 16.6 If payment is late, GPUsed may charge interest, suspend supply, withdraw credit facilities, recover goods or take debt recovery action where lawful. 16.7 The buyer is responsible for reasonable costs incurred by GPUsed in recovering overdue sums, including legal costs and court fees where applicable. 16.8 Credit terms apply only to sales made by GPUsed. They do not automatically apply to purchases made by GPUsed from sellers. 17. DONATIONS AT CHECKOUT 17.1 GPUsed may offer optional donation or tipping options at checkout, such as 1%, 5% or 10%. 17.2 Checkout donations are voluntary and are not required to place an order. 17.3 GPUsed passes 100% of optional checkout donations to its nominated charity for the relevant period. 17.4 GPUsed does not keep the donated amount. 17.5 GPUsed may change the nominated charity, donation method or donation options at any time. 17.6 If an order is cancelled or refunded before a donation has been passed on, GPUsed may refund the donation where practical. If the donation has already been passed on to the nominated charity, GPUsed may be unable to refund it unless required by law. 18. RAFFLES, FREE DRAWS AND PROMOTIONS 18.1 GPUsed may run occasional raffles, free draws, prize draws, competitions or similar promotions. 18.2 Each raffle or promotion may have its own specific terms, prize details, closing date, entry method, free postal entry route, eligibility rules and winner announcement method. 18.3 Where GPUsed runs a raffle or free draw, the relevant Raffle Information page should be read before entering. 18.4 Entrants must be over 18 years old unless the promotion clearly states a higher age requirement. 18.5 A paid entry does not receive better treatment than a valid free postal entry where the promotion provides a free-entry route. 18.6 The winner may be announced by winning order number or entry reference on the GPUsed website, GPUsed Facebook page or another stated channel. 18.7 GPUsed will also try to contact the winner using the contact details supplied at entry or checkout. 18.8 If a winner does not respond within the stated timeframe, GPUsed may redraw, withdraw, resell or otherwise deal with the prize as stated in the promotion terms. 18.9 GPUsed may void entries that are fraudulent, automated, duplicated beyond the stated limit, submitted by ineligible entrants, submitted using false details or otherwise breach the promotion terms. 19. EXPORT CONTROLS AND RESTRICTED REGIONS 19.1 Buyers are responsible for ensuring that any item bought from GPUsed is used, exported, re-exported, transferred and resold in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. 19.2 You must not export or re-export products purchased from GPUsed to any restricted, sanctioned or unauthorised region or to any person or organisation where doing so would breach applicable export control, sanctions or trade laws. 19.3 GPUsed may refuse, cancel or block an order where there are export control, sanctions, fraud, end-user or compliance concerns. 19.4 Returns or warranty claims may be refused or limited where an item has been exported or re-exported in breach of these terms or applicable law, or where support is no longer practical because of the export. 20. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY 20.1 All website content, branding, text, images, layout, graphics, logos, icons, page designs, product descriptions, data and other materials are owned by GPUsed or its licensors unless otherwise stated. 20.2 You may not copy, reproduce, scrape, redistribute, resell, imitate or use GPUsed content or branding without permission, except for normal personal use of the website. 20.3 GPUsed trademarks, logos, names and brand assets may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership or affiliation without written permission. 21. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY 21.1 GPUsed processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. 21.2 You should read the GPUsed Privacy Policy to understand how GPUsed collects, uses, stores and protects personal data. 21.3 When selling items to GPUsed, you are responsible for removing personal data from devices and storage media before sending them. 22. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY 22.1 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded. 22.2 GPUsed is not liable for indirect, consequential or economic losses, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, loss of data or loss of opportunity, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded. 22.3 GPUsed's total liability for a product, transaction or breach of these terms is limited to the price paid for the relevant product or transaction, except where liability cannot legally be limited. 22.4 GPUsed is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, incompatible hardware, unsuitable power equipment, misuse, unauthorised modification, customer error or use outside the product's intended purpose. 22.5 GPUsed is not responsible for loss of data. You should back up and remove data before sending, returning or using any storage-capable item. 23. INDEMNITY 23.1 You agree to indemnify GPUsed against losses, claims, costs, damages and expenses arising from your fraud, misrepresentation, unlawful activity, breach of these terms, breach of third-party rights or sale of items you were not entitled to sell. 24. FORCE MAJEURE 24.1 GPUsed is not liable for delay or failure caused by events outside its reasonable control, including courier disruption, supplier failure, strikes, war, fire, flood, storm, power failure, internet outage, platform failure, payment-provider failure, legal restrictions, government action or other force majeure events. 25. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS 25.1 GPUsed may update these terms from time to time. 25.2 The version in force at the time of your order, quote, sale or promotion entry will usually apply to that transaction unless a change is required by law or agreed with you. 25.3 Continued use of the website after updated terms are published means you accept the updated terms for future use. 26. SEVERANCE 26.1 If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that part will be treated as removed or modified as far as necessary, and the rest of the terms will continue to apply. 27. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION 27.1 These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. 27.2 If you are a consumer, you may have rights to bring claims in your local UK jurisdiction where applicable. 27.3 Business customers agree that the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, unless otherwise agreed in writing. 28.
