Look between the expansion slots, near the memory slots or along the PCB edge for the manufacturer and complete model. Include the revision where printed; the outer box may belong to a close variant with different Wi-Fi, networking or power features. If the label is hidden by a graphics card, photograph it after safe removal rather than relying on the system listing.

The CPU socket deserves its own photograph
Remove the CPU only if you know how to release the socket correctly. On an LGA board, photograph the pins from more than one shallow angle so alignment is visible. On a PGA socket, show that no foreign material or broken CPU pin remains in a hole. Do not touch, brush or attempt to straighten the socket for the quote.
Fit the proper socket cover for transport where available. Never place a loose CPU in the socket as a substitute for protection, and do not let a cooler, cable or bag press against exposed pins.
Describe the last reliable test
A sensible motherboard test checks that it powers correctly with compatible parts, reaches firmware, recognises key hardware and does not show a known fault. You do not need to promise that every port has been exercised for hours. If one slot or header is known not to work, identify it. If the board is untested after removal, say so.

Sell the board alone or with related parts
You can submit a motherboard on its own, or list the CPU and RAM separately through sell used computer components. Do not call three components a tested bundle unless they were tested together and all exact models are recorded. For a complete assembled computer, use sell a gaming PC.
