PC power supplies
A used PSU is only useful when its exact identity, age, condition and correct modular cable set are known.
GPUsed can selectively review reputable, suitable power supplies. Send the complete label, wattage, model or revision, approximate age and every cable that is genuinely associated with that unit.

A PSU can retain dangerous electrical charge after it is unplugged. Do not remove its casing, attempt an internal clean or carry out a home repair for a quote. If it smells burnt, has liquid exposure, makes alarming noises or has damaged connectors, leave it disconnected and describe the issue.
Dust on the outer grille can be photographed as it is. Avoid pushing tools through vents or using a method that spins the fan aggressively. Safety and an honest condition report matter more than making an old unit look new.

Complete cable list
Attached and modular cables, with counts for motherboard, CPU, PCIe, SATA and model-specific leads.
Do not claim a cable belongs to the PSU simply because the plug fits. If cables from several units were stored together, keep the uncertain ones separate and say so.
Modular cables are not universal
Connector shapes can match while the wiring at the PSU end is different. Mixing modular cables can damage the power supply and connected hardware. Even products from the same manufacturer may use incompatible cable generations. Corsair’s official compatibility guidance, for example, warns that some of its cable types cannot be interchanged.
- Keep only confidently matched cables with the unit.
- List missing modular cables rather than replacing them with a similar-looking lead.
- Do not connect an uncertain cable for testing.
- Pack plugs so they cannot dent the casing or break a socket in transit.
Why PSU buying is selective
Age, model reputation, wattage, current demand, cable completeness and condition all affect whether safe resale is commercially sensible. Older low-wattage units, incomplete modular PSUs and faulty power supplies may have no viable offer even when another component of the same age does.
A straightforward submission can receive a personalised quote in as little as 10 minutes. The quote is free and there is no obligation. If GPUsed can buy the unit and you accept, wait for sending instructions, then pack it in a rigid box with strong cushioning. We inspect the external condition, identity, cable set and proportionate working behaviour before approval and payment.
Can I include a PSU with a complete computer?
Yes. Use sell a gaming PC and list the exact PSU within the full specification. Do not remove it solely for the initial enquiry.
What if one modular cable is missing?
List the exact cable that is absent. Completeness affects suitability and value, but guessing or adding an incompatible replacement is worse.
The non-negotiable rule: never open the PSU and do not mix modular cables.
