Say whether each item is a conventional PCIe card, a passive full-height accelerator, an SXM-style module, an OAM module or part of a larger baseboard. Include the cooling arrangement, power connectors and anything that remains attached. A unit built around passive cooling and server airflow should not be described as an ordinary desktop graphics card.
Device label
Manufacturer, exact model, part number, revision, memory capacity and serial label where it is safe to share.
System context
Original server or platform, carrier or baseboard, firmware information and whether the hardware was part of a matched set.
Present state
Installed, decommissioned, individually tested, untested or known faulty, with error information rather than a vague grade.
Build a deinstallation-ready inventory
For more than one unit, provide one row per part number and condition. Add the site location, rack or pallet count, target collection date, access restrictions and whether the equipment has already been removed. Photographs should show labels and the scale of the consignment without exposing credentials, customer information or data shown on management screens.
State who owns the hardware and whether any asset-release or data-governance steps remain. GPUsed may request further provenance for valuable specialist stock. That protects both parties and is part of a sensible commercial handover.
