Three names worth checking twice

RTX 4060 Ti: 8GB or 16GB?

Both capacities exist. The standard RTX 4060 has 8GB, but “Ti” alone doesn't identify the memory size of a 4060 Ti. Include both the suffix and capacity.

RTX 4070 Ti or Ti Super?

The RTX 4070 Ti has 12GB; the RTX 4070 Ti Super has 16GB. RTX 4070 and RTX 4070 Super are separate 12GB models. Copy the whole name rather than shortening it to “4070”.

RTX 4080 or 4080 Super?

Both have 16GB, so memory capacity won't distinguish them. Keep “Super” in the description where applicable. An RTX 4090 is a different, 24GB model.

Before you open the quote form

You don't need a sales pitch or a folder of benchmark results. A short, accurate description is enough to get started:

  1. Read the label. Include the board partner and range, such as ASUS TUF, MSI Gaming or Gigabyte Eagle. A Founders Edition should be described as such; not every NVIDIA card is one.
  2. Say how it works now. Recently removed from a working PC, sitting untested, or showing a fault? Include intermittent problems as well as permanent ones.
  3. List what comes with it. Original box, support bracket, supplied adapter and any other model-specific accessories. Tell us what's missing rather than replacing it with an unknown cable.
  4. Declare changes. A replacement fan, waterblock or previous repair matters. If the original cooler is available, say so.

Different partner cards can have different layouts and power connections. Don't remove the cooler to identify a connector, and don't keep powering up a card with visible electrical damage. Describe the issue and ask us first.
