Record the manufacturer, exact model, capacity and part number. Then state the interface and form factor: for example M.2 NVMe, M.2 SATA, 2.5-inch SATA, U.2 or another enterprise format. If you are unsure, send a sharp label photograph and do not guess from the connector.
Identity
Full product label, capacity, part number, interface and physical size.
Health
Health percentage, total data written, power-on hours and any warnings where a trusted utility already reports them.
Context
Quantity, working state, whether it was an operating-system drive and any heatsink, caddy or adapter included.
Your data remains your responsibility
Back up anything you need, remove the drive from cloud or device-management relationships where relevant and securely erase it before sending. Simply deleting files is not the same as sanitising storage. The UK National Cyber Security Centre’s device-erasure guidance explains why and points organisations with stronger requirements towards formal media-sanitisation guidance.
Choose an erase method appropriate to the device and your data policy. If the drive holds sensitive organisational data that cannot leave your control, do not send it. GPUsed is buying hardware, not providing a data-recovery or certified data-destruction service.
Health evidence should be accurate, not theatrical
A clear screenshot from a reputable drive-health or manufacturer utility can help. It should show the correct model and capacity alongside the available health indicators. Do not run hours of unnecessary write testing, repeatedly format a failing drive or crop out warnings. If the SSD disconnects, reports errors or cannot be read, describe that plainly.

What happens next?
Submit the drive details, health evidence and condition. A straightforward submission can receive a personalised quote in as little as 10 minutes; unusual enterprise drives or large quantities can take longer. There is no obligation to accept. If you do, wait for GPUsed sending instructions, use anti-static protection and pack the drive inside a rigid box.
For mechanical disks, use sell used hard drives. For a server or business storage batch, use sell bulk computer components and keep data-bearing items on a separate inventory sheet.
Do not post a loose M.2 drive in an envelope. Its connector and PCB need anti-static protection, a rigid inner holder and cushioning.
